Toonami has released their latest schedule update. The latest schedule graphics is the first to use the updated branding we have seen in bumpers during the last two weeks of Toonami. The new lineup makes some significant shifts to Toonami’s trajectory, by bringing Blue Exorcist’s run into the 2020s.
At 12:30 Dan Da Dan is continuing in its current slot. Toonami’s newest series about teenagers battling ghosts and aliens has taken 12:30 since Dragon Ball Daima was cut back from two episodes a week to one. As one of the most recent and trendy shows on the block, following a successful release on streaming platforms in fall 2024, Dan Da Dan has been receiving weekly episode promos alongside Daima since its premiere.
At 1:00 Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War is airing the end of its first season focusing on the Quincy vs Soul Reapers war. While weekly Bleach episode promos ceased when Dan Da Dan arrived, it remains one of the core shows on the block. It is unconfirmed if Toonami has the rights to additional seasons of Bleach, but second and third seasons of Thousand Year Blood War have already aired in Japan, with a fourth in production. Later seasons have been streamed on Hulu in the United States. It is unknown if the season will have a marathon on the 30th to celebrate its completion.
At 1:30 Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga makes its Toonami debut. With season 2, the Kyoto Saga battle with the Impure King, wrapping up on August 16, a new arc is set to begin the week after it. No season end marathon is slated for the 23rd, which allows Blue Exorcist to continue for a third consecutive season on Toonami.
At 2:00 One Piece is continuing to wrap up the 118 episode Dressrosa saga. Even after the changes to the throne and the revelations about Sabo’s past, the Dressrosa saga still has another month or two of epilogue episodes left to air before One Piece reaches the 4 episode Silver Mine anime only filler arc that bridges Dressrosa and Zou manga arcs.
At 2:30 Lazarus, Toonami’s latest original is airing a second run in Japanese with English subtitles. This version previously aired in marathon form. The English dub premiered at midnight throughout the spring of 2025 on Toonami. It recently received a full subbed marathon, then moved to 2:30 AM, pushing Naruto back to 3 AM.
At 3:00, Naruto continues the early stages of the Chunin Exams, but is still several months behind where Toonami Rewind left off. Toonami initially put out a graphic omitting the 3:00 AM slot, but Toonami has since updated their Facebook post to clarify the classic ninja anime Naruto is continuing the Forest of Death arc.
