Adult Swim has revealed its full San Diego Comic-Con panel schedule, as well as the attractions they’re bringing to 2025 con-goers. This year’s theme will be cats…and pirates. Pirate cats, in fact. Any particular reason? Not really. They just felt like it.
“Continuing our long tradition of being on the green at SDCC, last year we introduced a pirate ship motif because we have always viewed ourselves as media pirates,” said Adult Swim President Michael Ouweleen. “We’ve also always used cats in Adult Swim iconography (because they are night creatures?), so this year, obviously, it’s cats and pirates. Expect owls next year, because that’s the other animal we associate ourselves with. Just roll with it. Don’t think too hard. It will be hilarious. Please come hang with us and the best show creators and animation staff in the business.”
The Pirate Purrrty on the Green, as they’re calling it, will be the place for Adult Swim fans to interact with the worlds of their favorite currently running AS shows. Within its borders you’ll find the Smiling Friends Break Room (a perfect recreation of the room where Pim and Charlie start their day), the Rick and Morty Buttworld Bounce House (the place you’ve always wanted to bounce), the Adopt A Cuy Station (this is a tie-in for their August show Women Wearing Shoulder Pads), and the Common Side Effects Mushroom Hunt (don’t eat ’em unless you want things to get really trippy). Plus interactive games, themed photo moments and live DJ sets.

Adult Swim’s Haha, You Clowns Series Premiere Preview
