We know DC and Amazon Prime are separate companies, but their SDCC press releases came out rather close to each other and are rather short individually, so we decided to combine them both.
DC has a lot currently going on with the release of Superman and a full slate of Gunnverse-related movies and TV shows in production. Despite this, their panel at SDCC will only show off one animated thing: Batman Azteca, the Mexico-produced historical Elseworlds movie that was first announced in 2022 and no one has seen since. Seems it’s finally almost ready.

DC’s panel plans as a whole are rather sparse given the circumstances. They won’t show you anything from the live-action side either — most of the panels are about the comic books, with the exception of Peacemaker Season 2:
3:30PM-4:30PM. PEACEMAKER SNEAK PEEK & PANEL. (HBO Max and DC Studios Panel)
Panelists will include James Gunn (co-head of DC Studios, executive producer, writer, director), John Cena (Peacemaker, executive producer), Danielle Brooks (Adebayo), Jennifer Holland (Harcourt), Freddie Stroma (Vigilante), Steve Agee (Economos), Frank Grillo (Rick Flag Sr.), Sol Rodriguez (Sasha Bordeaux) and Tim Meadows (Langston Fleury). The highly anticipated global trailer for season two of the series will be released during the panel, which will be moderated by Josh Horowitz, host of MTV and the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast.
